7 Jogjakarta 11

July 12 2011

Jogjakarta, probably one of the city that people would love to live in. Also known as DIY (Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, translate; special region of Jogja) which for me the using of the word “istimewa” is totally appropriate with what I had seen in these recent years where I always had a long walk journey from Malang, to this lovely city. I went to Jogja aaaaaaalll along the way by taking train to Solo then end up in Jogja, although the atmosphere is not as cool as Malang (it’s quite hot) I totally enjoy and love this city.

Semeru.

"nature is truth, and you got to see it with a wide naked eyes open"

--------------------------------------------------------------------

As the native of Indonesia, I don’t really know what “Semeru” means. But that’s not important because whatever the name, its beauty has been poisoning my eyes first since I stepped my foot on its edge. the feeling of tired-caused-of-walking and climbing up the hills-for three hours was answered by the view in front of my eyes. I walk to the lake called “Ranu Kumbolo” and again, I don’t know what the name means (*sucks). The view is so pure, fresh, nature, and truth (“nature is truth”) now I understand why people are crazy about the beauty of nature, because once it poisons your eyes, it will attack your brain! And you’re brainwashed by its beauty!

The sea of hundreds lost.

The biggest joke most people often said to me is “Graduate soon, and get a good job”

“I love what I have, I am, and I will - learned/learning/learn”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was at the middle of the busy harbor, where I had no destination to go. People were busy taking chances on every room opens. They didn't even realize that the rooms were only for 2 people. It were just small and few rooms and there were hundreds of them filling their own paper written their name with their medals of honor. The papers were selling them in a very low price. But I didn't see what they saw; I saw blindness of unguided innocent and the laugh of the bourgeois. And I realized we were not one of the passengers and we won’t be, we were  something underwater they were fishing. It was just a matter of time for me, to became one of them, fighting and racing to take the bait.

to contemplate.

what can be more sharper than a moon tonight
whose shine can cut off the dark and dim the light
the sky is bright with light sharper than a samurai
tear off the dark and brighten the eye

Yes! God can be so adorable for its masterpiece
so my question is,
if you, she, he, me, or even WE
can be so amazed with that shiny, gloomy, and sparkly --
why haven't we praise God already?

intimacy.

as if, life acts so cruel
creates the feel of un-able.
I lean both my hand circle
inside a shell and I
rested next to the pearl.

and hand, merges the warm,
rests the terrible storm
closes the eyes, sent to calm
and any other disturbances, disarmed!

some part of life could die already
i loose what world can take from me
SELFISHLY!!
Yes! it promised me chance and opportunity
beautiful and seductively
but this
an unpromised intimacy
gives me no opportunity
at all, but -- calm on eternity

calm on eternity.
