Berburu Sesajen Jatah Dewa

the big step.
------
"And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your hearts. Undoubtedly in these are signs for those who reflect." [Noble Quran 30:21]
July 5, my first cousin has made a big step on his life, marriage. One big step to make a man and woman to live as husband and wife. With a brave heart he gets a blessing from God and family to marry a woman carrying out one of Prophet's Sunnah, he opened the gate into a new life as a complete man.

Kerutan Wajah Tua Budaya Indonesia.
Gempa
masyarakat tentunya mengakibatkan pergeseran
Kamu diam saja disitu dimeja kamarku
Terpenjara rapi dalam bingkai murahan
yang kubeli tiga tahun lalu
Kamu tau ndak, nyamuk nyamuk disini lagi arisan
Menunggu aku tidur untuk sarapan
Ada yg main serobot guatel, gak sopan!!
Eh Tuan mana Tuan
Padahal aku dulu minta kamu
Dikirim cantik rupawan
Yang nyampai disini cuma fotomu
Sedangkan sisanya rapi terbungkus
dibawah batu nisan
dibawah batu nisan

Jakarta; hands up heads down!
I have been visiting Jakarta this past month in the effort of pursuing a life, work, future, chance, opportunity, and experience. I’m not surprised by how the city will treat a newcomer like me, my memories of Arema Indonesia tour Batavia 2010 created a strong impression between Jakarta and hard life. That journey when young and restless people like me saw how big Jakarta was the first time I thought of myself that Jakarta is a city with big promises, but it turned up by the shocking scene behind a tall huge wall in which you may make a BIG SALE for your big dreams. The struggle may end up in the railway from Jatinegara to Pasar Senen, which becomes a welcoming scene of Jakarta from the train window. And that day when I first came to Jakarta I promise myself to get back there and smell its
stinks.

keluh.
matanya perih,
angin berhembus merintih.
gontai goyah gemetaran,
haus dan kerontang kelaparan.
apakah yang diperbuat oleh alam?
rupanya telah bersetubuh kejam
manusia dengan bencana.

7 Jogjakarta 11
July 12 2011
Jogjakarta, probably one of the city that people would love to live in. Also known as DIY (Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, translate; special region of Jogja) which for me the using of the word “istimewa” is totally appropriate with what I had seen in these recent years where I always had a long walk journey from Malang, to this lovely city. I went to Jogja aaaaaaalll along the way by taking train to Solo then end up in Jogja, although the atmosphere is not as cool as Malang (it’s quite hot) I totally enjoy and love this city.

Semeru.
"nature is truth, and you got to see it with a wide naked eyes open"
--------------------------------------------------------------------
As the native of Indonesia, I don’t really know what “Semeru” means. But that’s not important because whatever the name, its beauty has been poisoning my eyes first since I stepped my foot on its edge. the feeling of tired-caused-of-walking and climbing up the hills-for three hours was answered by the view in front of my eyes. I walk to the lake called “Ranu Kumbolo” and again, I don’t know what the name means (*sucks). The view is so pure, fresh, nature, and truth (“nature is truth”) now I understand why people are crazy about the beauty of nature, because once it poisons your eyes, it will attack your brain! And you’re brainwashed by its beauty!

The sea of hundreds lost.
The biggest joke most people often said to me is “Graduate soon, and get a good job”
“I love what I have, I am, and I will - learned/learning/learn”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was at the middle of the busy harbor, where I had no destination to go. People were busy taking chances on every room opens. They didn't even realize that the rooms were only for 2 people. It were just small and few rooms and there were hundreds of them filling their own paper written their name with their medals of honor. The papers were selling them in a very low price. But I didn't see what they saw; I saw blindness of unguided innocent and the laugh of the bourgeois. And I realized we were not one of the passengers and we won’t be, we were something underwater they were fishing. It was just a matter of time for me, to became one of them, fighting and racing to take the bait.

to contemplate.
what can be more sharper than a moon tonight
whose shine can cut off the dark and dim the light
the sky is bright with light sharper than a samurai
tear off the dark and brighten the eye
Yes! God can be so adorable for its masterpiece
so my question is,
if you, she, he, me, or even WE
can be so amazed with that shiny, gloomy, and sparkly --
why haven't we praise God already?
